On the 2nd of July, PGGM Investments added 1 million Kilroy Realty Corp. (NYSE:KRC) shares for $62 million at an average price of $59.61 per share. Shares of Kilroy Realty Corp. are down -3.17% since the transaction.
PGGM Investments’s holding in Kilroy Realty Corp. increased to about 5.9 million shares with the purchase.
PGGM Investments first bought Kilroy Realty Corp. stock in the second quarter of 2014. PGGM Investments also owns ProLogis (NYSE:PLD), Simon Property Group (NYSE:SPG), Equity Residential (NYSE:EQR) and AvalonBay Communities (NYSE:AVB). Kilroy Realty Corp. is its number six position by number of shares and market value among real estate investment trusts stocks.
Other investors who also added to their Kilroy Realty Corp. shares include California State Teachers Retirement System, Cohen & Steers Inc., and Millennium Management. Contrary to PGGM Investments, Manning & Napier Group, the T. Rowe Price Equity Income Fund, and Centersquare Investment Management reduced KRC shares.
PGGM Investments has also recently reduced their share in CareTrust REIT (NASDAQ:CTRE). The total value of the shares sold is estimated at around $79 million.
